Socceroo Tom Rogic is set to be the most expensive Australian player ever after Celtic put a $28m for sale sticker on the star as EPL clubs circle him.
Rogic, 26, could be in line for a reunion with former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers as the Leicester City boss looks to bring his playmaker to the Premier League.
Southampton are also said to be keen on snapping up the Socceroos hero too.
But Celtic have vowed not to let their star man go cheaply and put a £15m price tag on the former Central Coast Mariner's head, according to reports in Scotland.
And that price could soar if rival clubs get into a bidding war for the Canberra ace who still has four years left on his Parkhead deal.
Aaron Mooy's $17m move to Huddersfield Town two years ago was the previous biggest transfer fee paid for an Aussie, after sales of around $10m for Mark Viduka, Brad Smith, Mark Bresciano and Mat Ryan.
