New Corinthians coach Paulo Cesar Carpegiani has admitted he would like to have Carlos Tevez back at the club.
But Emerson Leao's successor ruled out any contact with the West Ham forward, who left for London along with Javier Mascherano last August.
"(Tevez's return) would be great, but I haven't asked the board about him because I was appointed very quickly," Carpegiani told TV Bandeirantes.
"We haven't had time to talk about signings, but every great player will always be welcomed."
The future of Tevez, who led Corinthians to the Campeonato Brasileiro title two years ago and played in the 2006 World Cup for Argentina, is not clear should the Hammers be relegated from the Premiership.
