This was the result Princess Mary probably wanted. A 1-1 draw between Denmark and Australia in Samara means both sides can still qualify for the knockout stages of the World Cup
Nicolai Jørgensen 7.5 – Stunning assist for Eriksen’s goal. He played as a classic number nine, holding up the play, using his physical presence to cause trouble and brought his team-mates into the game high up the pitch. Went a little quiet in the second half and made way for Cornelius.

Pione Sisto 7.5 – One of Denmark’s brightest young prospects and he showed some glimpses of why, but also had some very quiet periods. He was Denmark’s best attacking option in the latter stages of the game. As his team-mates were running out of steam he was just clicking into gear. All in all, a good game from the 23-year-old.
Subs
Martin Braithwaite 5 – He would have a massive cult following if he was an Australian player with that name. Massive.
Andreas Cornelius 5.5 – An interesting choice of substitutes for Jorgensen. He offered the exact same thing, a tall strong forward.
