BRUCE Djite emerged from the Genclerbirligi bench to hit the back of the net and seal his team's 2-0 triumph over Kocaelispor in the Turkish League.
The former Adelaide United striker entered the fray as a 69th minute substitute with his team already ahead thanks to Ilhan Eker's 33rd minute goal.
The points were secured six minutes from time when Djite fired in the second for his team.
Mile Jedinak and James Troisi, the latter fresh from a hat-trick in last week's fixture, both put in full shifts for the visitors. Troisi also picked up a booking.
Genclerbirligi made it two wins in a row with this triumph and they have now move five points clear of the drop zone.
As for other Turkish-based Aussies, goalkeeper Michael Petkovic picked up another clean sheet for Sivasspor as his side drew 0-0 at Kayserispor - a result that keeps his side top of the table.
Harry Kewell is injured and did not feature for Galatasary in their 2-0 win at Denizlispor.
