A wild battle in the West saw Perth Glory come back from being a goal down to win 2-1 against Central Coast Mariners in Round 3 of the A-League at nib Stadium on Sunday.
CENTRAL COAST MARINERS
Tom Glover – 6.5
Stood firm in goals for the first 45 minutes and remained confident, but conceded two goals, in which the defence should have done better.
Storm Roux – 7.5
Created space for himself on the right, and drilled a few frightening crosses into the area, whilst pressing for 90 minutes.
Alan Baro - 6
The Mariners Captain led the line at the back well to catch Perth offside several times, and was able to recover well until Glory were able to get in behind as the first half went on.
However, in the second half, he, along with the rest of the Mariners defence could not stop Perth’s attack.

Antony Golec - 5.5
Strong defensively and recovered ground well, although he needed to keep an eye on Taggart’s runs, in which he was ultimately unable to do so.
Joshua Rose - 6
Mainly solid in the first half, but gave up possession for Castro to then cross for a threatening attack.
Also had a chance in front of goal after Golec’s lob.
Tom Hiariej - 7
The Dutchman has tremendous footwork, which assisted in his volleyed cross, but was cleared. He also had a fantastic chance with a strike in the 49th minute.
Daniel De Silva – 7.5
De Silva is becoming an important part to Paul Okon’s machine, and upon his A-League return, he scored his maiden goal last week.
The highly-rated playmaker earned his stripes once again and handled himself well after being a clear target of the Glory defenders. De Silva got himself into great areas, but couldn’t be the hero for his side on the day.
