A wild battle in the West saw Perth Glory come back from being a goal down to win 2-1 against Central Coast Mariners in Round 3 of the A-League at nib Stadium on Sunday.
Wout Brama – 7
Latched onto Pain’s low cross and struck into the back of the net from 15 yards out for a deserved lead, but didn’t do a whole lot for the rest of the match.
Kwabena Appiah - 8
Made a blistering run in the first minute of the match and cut in to Asdrubal for a golden opportunity.
Was a hand-full, placing direct and dangerous passes in the box, and could have had a few chances of his own as he got in behind several times.
Asdrubal - 7
An electric player for the Mariners, who already has two goals in two games.
Missed a great opportunity in the opening minute in front of goal. Looked to threat but wasn’t able early, as well as a downward header in the 54th minute.

Connor Pain – 8.5
Threatening on the wing early and created many chances for his side throughout the match, whilst beating his marker and ran in with ease.
Directed a pin-point pass into the box to assist Brama.

Looked lively and quick as soon as he stepped onto the field, and made runs into the area.
Josh Bingham - 5.5
Was dangerous, had a chance late in the game but couldn’t control the ball, to his defence, there was too much on it.
