Melbourne City’s bad week only got worse as they gave up a two-goal lead against Perth Glory in a disappointing 2-2 draw against the league leaders.
Luke Brattan – 7.5
Brattan continued a good season for himself personally as a box-to-box midfielder. He offered threats in attack while remaining a presence in defence.
Rostyn Griffiths – 6.5
Passed the ball cleanly and held his line well to pressure the player with the ball, but he will be annoyed that he didn’t do more to stop either of the two goals in the lead-up.
Florin Berenguer – 6.5
Berenguer had an average game as he tracked back defensively but also showed some danger when going forward.
Jamie Maclaren – 9
Maclaren is not the man you want if you want to help build-up play but give him a sniff in the box and he’ll take it nine times out of ten. Two chances, two goals for the man who now has five in his past four games.
Shayon Harrison - 6
Dangerous at times but substituted on the 64th minute.
SUBS
Riley McGree – 6.5
Made a dangerous run through the field but didn’t have a clean enough touch to make a serious chance out of it.
Lachie Wales – 6
Came on for Berenguer but didn’t offer much of a threat for the time he was on.
Dylan Pierias – 6
Wasn’t on the pitch long enough to make an impact on the game.
