Melbourne City’s bad week only got worse as they gave up a two-goal lead against Perth Glory in a disappointing 2-2 draw against the league leaders.
Perth Glory
Liam Reddy – 6
There wasn’t much Reddy could do for either goal conceded as they were both more defensive errors than goalkeeping howlers.
Ivan Franjic – 6
Franjic gave Jamieson far too much space for the cross that lead to the first goal. He was slow off his mark and didn’t pressure his opposing full-back which proved costly for his team.
Shane Lowry – 5.5
Some might argue that Lowry was somewhat unlucky to have conceded a handball in the box, but he was at fault for leaving his hand out.
Matthew Spiranovic – 6
The Perth defence was as a whole quite disappointing in this match, though Spiranovic was probably the best performer out of the three centre-backs.
Dino Djulbic – 5.5
Djulbic was hasty when trying to play out from the back and it led to a few dicey moments where he put Reddy or his fellow defenders in awkward positions which could’ve been punished on another day.
Jason Davidson – 7
Davidson once again provided a dangerous attacking threat for his team as he was the man to put the cross in for Perth to get a goal back.
Neil Kilkenny – 6.5
Kilkenny had a quiet game as his distributed passes from all ends were lacking the killer ball that he usually provides.
