It wasn't a Melbourne Derby to remember, but it did have a few telling performances: see how the players rated in Melbourne Victory's 1-1 draw with Melbourne City.
Kearyn Baccus – 6
He has a great skillset but you can’t consistently bomb forward, merely to waste your resultant opportunity, and expect to accumulate praise long-term.
Jamie Maclaren - 7
Another reasonably quiet performance bar the goal, but that’s just the player he is. Well taken penalty.
Shayon Harrison - 7
He is the typical prodigious young English striker: Bags of talent, on loan from a big club, takes players on beautifully, holds the ball far too long, can’t finish and inevitably doesn’t play the full 90.
Florin Berenguer - 5
He’s been disappointing this season, particularly in how inconsistent he is. A few skied efforts that were inexplicable.
SUBS
Riley McGree - 6
Strong passing but not heavily involved.
Dario Vidosic – 5
Few sloppy fouls in the final few minutes.
Lachlan Wales - 6
Full of pressing and energy but unable to impress himself as a goal-threat.
