NEWCASTLE Jets' swelling crocks club has another member with fears Ruben Zadkovich could be sidelined due to a knee injury while Sasho Petrovski is touch and go for the next game.
Zadkovich will have an MRI scan today to determine whether he has torn the meniscus in his knee, following the defeat by Central Coast Mariners.
Veteran forward Petrovski has been cleared of a serious hamstring injury but is by no means certain to line up this weekend.
It leaves the club with almost as many players clogging up the treatment room as putting their hands up for selection.
Those currently out include skipper Michael Bridges, his armband successor Kasey Wherman with others injured including Ben Kantarovski, Sean Rooney, Jeremy Brockie, Neil Young and Kaz Patafta.
"I find out that Ruben, who was one of our standouts against the Mariners, has picked up an injury that could keep him out for up to three games," Culina told the Newcastle Herald.
‘‘On top of Kasey Wehrman’s injury, it is getting a bit much."
