The Medellin-based giants raised the trophy thanks to a 3-1 triumph on aggregate, as on Wednesday they won 1-0 with Carmelo Valencia the scorer.

Oscar Quintabani's side went ahead in the 21st minute of the second leg, when Carmelo Valencia profited from mistakes by Felipe Benalcazar and German Caicedo to beat goalkeeper Luis Estacio.

Nestor Otero's Huila were needing at least two goals to take the game to penalties and they managed to equalise just two minutes before half-time, as Duvan Hernandez levelled the game.

Huila fans were hopeful of getting something but Francisco Javier Lopez was shown a second yellow card in the 64th minute and things became more difficult.

And though Nacional had Camilo Zuniga dismissed four minutes later, Diego Toro won it for Nacional with an 86th minute strike.

Nacional forward Sergio Galvan Rey, who did not play on Sunday night, and Huila's Freddy Montero were the tournament's leading scorers, with 13 goals each.
