A warm and muggy Thursday night saw the start of the Summer Football Festival, with the Roar hosting the Glory on a pitch that somewhat resembled a cow paddock.
Diego Castro - 8
The magician worked all of his Spanish magic, coming up with the assist for the Andy Keogh goal, before snatching all three points with a smashing close-range finish.
Joseph Knowles - 5
Didn’t cause the Roar any real problems, and failed to meet any fast balls into the box.
Mitch Nichols - 7
Kenny Lowe gave the former Roar midfielder the attacking freedom to roam up and down the line up Brisbane defenders, and managed to cause some problems.

SUBSTITUTES
Andy Keogh – 7.5
Showed his hunger after coming on as a half-time substitute and immediately became a viable attacking option.
Nick Feely – 6
Did what he could as a substitute keeper, had his eyes peeled and didn’t waste any time warming into the game.
Xavi Torres – 6
One of the Glory’s amigos returned, replacing Andreu. Didn’t manage to become involved heavily, but became one of a few link up players in the Glory midfield.
