An injury-riddled Adelaide United travelled west to face the Perth Glory at nib Stadium without five first team players. The home side took their time, but eventually broke the deadlock with the game’s only goal in the 80th minute.
Andreu – 6
Like a few others on the Glory team, Andreu kept quiet and found it hard to get involved.
Mitch Nichols – 6
Nichols was kept quiet in his first start for the Glory this season. His slow start is understandable, as the midfielder returns to full fitness following a hefty suspension.

Diego Castro – 6.5
The Glory legend showed glimpses of his class but was more subdued. The 35-year-old displaying signs that this could well be his last season in Australia.
Chris Harold – 5.5
Harold struggled to be found in space on the ball, with so many runs being shut down swiftly by Garuccio.
Adam Taggart – 7.5
Came so close to breaking the deadlock only to find Paul Izzo had other ideas. Made some intelligent runs, found himself in space and looked dangerous.

Andy Keogh – 7
The Irishman was continuously shut down by United’s back four, but finally managed to escape their attentions and open the scoring with a clinical header past Paul Izzo.
