The 32-year-old three-time FIFA World Player of the Year has not played yet for his Brazilian employers after signing in December as he battles to find full fitness.

But the former Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and AC Milan striker is optimistic the end is in sight.

"From this week onwards, I will start training three times (per week) with the first team. Previously, I was training only once or twice," Ronaldo told GloboEsporte.com, although he admitted he has not yet set a date for his comeback.

"I have no way to know when I will play. I have no official date."
