Sweden have won their first World Cup match in 12 years defeating South Korea 1-0 in their first match of the group stage.
SOUTH KOREA
Jo Hyun-Woo - 7.5
The only reason Korea weren't down by more than one. Pulled off two extraordinary saves in the match before a penalty sent Korea 1-0 down.
Yong Lee - 5.5
Some better deliveries in the second half, setting up Koo Ja-Cheol with a chance ten minutes after the restart.
Park Joo-Ho - 6
At left-back his deliveries weren't up to scratch, as Korea were on top from the beginning of the game. Substituted after a hamstring injury, following a faulty landing from a jump to head the ball.
Kim Young-Gwon - 6.5
Sliding challenge kept Sweden from going ahead as Pontus Jansson and Marcus Berg failed to convert. After his keeper saved Toivonen's header, he followed up with a pivotal clearance.
Jang Hyun-Soo - 4.5
Struggled with Sweden's direct play as Marcus Berg found some chances inside the South Korea's box.
Koo Ja-Cheol - 5
Had hearts in mouths when he headed towards goal and hit the net - but it was the elusive side netting.
Ki Seung-Yeung - 5
Lost the midfield battle with Sweden, as South Korea's passing wasn't up to scratch. Spent more time tracking back and having to make tackles rather than turning and opening up play.
Lee Jae-Sung - 3
A talented box-to-box midfielder but Jae-Sung couldn't do anything to break through Sweden's immense midfield.
