It is the game that never disappoints, and Saturday night's tale was exactly that as Sydney FC drew 2-2 with Western Sydney Wanderers at Allianz Stadium.
Joshua Brillante – 8
An all round classy game from the midfielder. With a goal to his name and a superb passing game, could we see Josh Brillante in the Socceroos squad to face Honduras next month?
Alex Brosque – 8
The Sydney skipper shows his experience and class, with his usual smart and decisive runs, making it hard for the Wanderers’ to keep tabs on him.
Milos Ninkovic – 6.5
Put simply, it wasn’t his night. You can’t take away Ninko’s class, with his expected spurts of his superior skill on display, but not consistently.

Bobô – 7
Slotted the penalty with conviction, but besides that, the big Brazilian couldn’t muster many chances, with two shots from six on target.
David Carney – 7
The veteran used all of his experience to win a slightly controversial penalty against Chris Herd, and fell from the game while trying to cover up the effects of a knock sustained the first half.
SUBSTITUTES
Anthony Kalik – 5.5
The youngster was closed down by Wanderers’ players within seconds of getting on the ball, making it hard to impress Graham Arnold.
Matt Simon – 6.5
Classic Matt Simon, showed his passion within 30 seconds of entering the pitch. Missed what could be regarded as a Simon classic, with a header flashing past the post in the dying stages.
