Perth Glory could not extend their lead at the top as an equaliser in the final seconds of the match from Tarek Elrich helped Western Sydney Wanderers achieve an undeserved 1-1 draw in their final game at Spotless Stadium.
Perth Glory
Liam Reddy – 6.5
Was hardly tested until the last moments where he spurned what should have been a regulation save.
Shane Lowry – 7
Lowry was dependable in bringing the ball out from the back and provided a solid platform for his team.
Matthew Spiranovic - 6
Spiranovic was unusually shoddy with his distribution from the back, giving away possession more than once and offering Bruce Kamau a chance at goal when he was dispossessed near the box.
Dino Djulbic – 6.5
Djulbic was decent with his passing and didn’t give the Wanderers any meaningful chances but was still taken off for Scott Neville late in the game.
Jason Davidson – 6
Davidson was not able to maintain his form of late, as he was kept quiet by Russell for most of the match.
Neil Kilkenny – 6.5
The dead-ball specialist had plenty of corners to show his talent but wasn’t able to put in any dangerous crosses from those situations.
Juande – 7.5
Juande is making a case to be the best defensive midfielder in the league. He is brilliant at protecting his back-line as well as connecting play between the defence towards his more capable attacking colleagues.
