Into the quarter-finals of the Asian Cup, the Iraqis were their usual difficult to beat. Loads of chances were spurned till Matty McKay’s perfect long pass/cross in the latter stages of extra time found Kewell in the box. Cool as you like Kewell’s header was perfectly placed past Mohammed Kassid Kadhim to end Iraq’s dreams and help send the Roos into the semis for the first time.
