4: Iran 1997 in Tehran
In the hell-like atmosphere of Tehran’s Azardi stadium, 19-year-old Kewell in virtually his first game for the green and gold got the Aussies off to a ripper with a 19th minute goal – a beautiful effort after Viduka had supplied the ball and Kewell outwitted three defenders, control with his right and shot with his left from the corner of the six yard box to silence 128,000 Iranians. It was the goal that introduced himself to the media and fans as “Harry Cool”.
